Description

In Norderstedt, development plan 320 is currently being drawn up. According to § 1 of the German Building Code, the general requirements for healthy living and working conditions and the safety of the residential and working population must be taken into account when drawing up development plans. Therefore, land that has been used commercially for many years is investigated and assessed for possible soil contamination caused by its use. A former meat processing plant is located in the area covered by the development plan. The planning area is also in the area of influence of two abandoned sites (former dry-cleaning shop, car repair shop with former petrol station) and an abandoned landfill. Within the scope of an orienting investigation, small pile-drillings with soil sampling, soil air and groundwater investigations were carried out and the results were evaluated with regard to the planned future use.

Scope of servicesSoil and groundwater investigations on areas suspected of being contaminated within the framework of urban land use planning during the preparation of development plan 320 in Norderstedt.

Field of activity: Orienting investigation of contaminated sites
