In the course of the expansion of the Bückethaler Knick Nord rest area on the A2, a total of 180,000 m³ of soil material was installed for levelling the terrain. In coordination with the responsible authorities of the district of Schaumburg as well as the NLSV, criteria for the chemical quality of recycling materials were developed. In the course of implementation, the available test certificates of the corresponding waste sites were reviewed and evaluated. Random visual inspections of the material were carried out on site and regular control tests were carried out in coordination with the external monitoring with regard to the chemical quality and the achieved compaction.
