Colleagues from <strong>M&amp;P Ingenieurgesellschaft Nord Hannover - part of SIERA<\/strong> took part across multiple workshops and activities throughout the day. <br><br>\nA special highlight was the new hands-on Field Work session, moderated by Lea Dreier and co-designed by colleagues Mahir Din\u00e7 and Felix Conradt. In small groups on the Suderburg campus, participants practiced small ram drilling, soil description, sampling, and soil-gas probing\u2014directly in the field. Feedback was highly positive, and we\u2019re excited to build on this momentum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Connecting with the community<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Just outside the plenary, our outdoor booth once again became a popular gathering point to network, exchange ideas, and\u2014yes\u2014soak up the sunshine. Visitors could also try their hand at estimating foreign material content, with surprisingly eye-opening results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What we practiced in the \u201cField Work\u201d session<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Before we dive into the list, here is why these techniques matter. Each method helps us characterize subsurface conditions efficiently and safely, supporting land recycling and remediation concepts that protect people and groundwater.
